Hocus Pocus Nursery Go for Gold!

At Hocus Pocus Day Nursery, magic isn’t just a part of our name – it’s woven into the very fabric of the Bolton community that we sit within. And now, we’re thrilled to share some exciting news that’s sure to sprinkle a little extra sparkle into our nursery’s story.

We’re delighted to announce that friend to the nursery, Bradley Arthur from P Arthur Autos, is lacing up his running shoes and taking on the challenge of the Manchester Marathon on April 14th. But Bradley isn’t just running for personal glory – he’s running for a cause close to our hearts: the Alzheimer’s Society.

You may be wondering why Hocus Pocus, a nursery who typically focuses on child-centred charities, is throwing its support behind Alzheimer’s Society. Well, the answer lies in our commitment to our extended family – the families we’ve supported through thick and thin over the years.

Many of you may have experienced the heart-breaking journey of watching a loved one battle Alzheimer’s disease. At Hocus Pocus, we’ve stood by children and their families during these difficult times, offering our support and love. So, when Bradley approached us with his marathon endeavour, we knew we had to stand with him in solidarity.

Bradley will be hitting the pavement in purple and white – the colours of Hocus Pocus – proudly representing our nursery as he tackles those 26.2 miles. And while he may have drawn the line at donning a full wizard costume (we tried!), his spirit and determination are truly magical.

But that’s not all! In true Hocus Pocus fashion, we’re putting our own spin on things. Our little ones will be joining in on the fun with our very own Mini Marathon right here at the nursery. Picture pint-sized runners racing around the garden, their laughter loud as they support Bradley and raise awareness for Alzheimer’s Society.

We invite you to join us in cheering on Bradley and our mini marathoners as they embark on their respective journeys. And if you’re able, we encourage you to support this important cause by donating to Bradley’s fundraising page. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Together, we can help Bradley cross the finish line and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Thank you for being a part of our Hocus Pocus family.

Stay tuned for updates and more magical moments!

With love and gratitude,
The Hocus Pocus Day Nursery Team
